Streaming Album of the Week: Fleet Foxes – Helplessness Blues
So it’s been quite a long time since I’ve put any music up. It seems fitting, since I waited for years to have their second album grace the presence of my ears, that Fleet Foxes should reignite my music posting. I first heard Fleet Foxes on a dear friends iPod during an 18 hour hike of Half Dome in Yosemite. They’ve been one of my favorite bands since. Surprisingly, I hear them playing in shops around Korea every now and then. I love this sophomore album and I hope you do too.

Thailand: Day 3
So sleeping, or trying to, on a train isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but after 13 hours on a train, 2 hours on a bus, 2 hours on a boat and about 1 hour on a taxi I finally made it to Ko Samui. I was woken up at 6 AM for breakfast on the train (a huge disappointment after the wonderful food I’ve been eating). I made my way to the restaurant car before too many people woke up so that I could have a window seat for the last 2.5 hours of the train ride. Continue reading →
